Are you an aspiring young or 'older' person hungry and passionate for God's word and revelation in the area of Youth Ministry?!
Harvest West Bible College and Youth Alive WA have partnered together to offer the Certificate IV Ministry (Youth Ministry). It is an accredited internship program preparing you for a youth leadership role in your local church (or para-church organisation), while receiving practical hands-on internship training in your local church. This year the Diploma of Ministry (Youth Ministry) began with some of the graduated interns coming back to continue their studies. The Diploma is also an accredited internship program that will continue to prepare you for a youth leadership role.
These courses are an exciting development at a time when youth ministries all over WA are blossoming. The question is no longer whether teenagers are interested in God but, rather, does the church have enough trained and experienced youth leaders to guide this new generation. I strongly believe that these courses will be part of the answer - providing world-class teaching and hands-on experience at Youth Alive events (helping to stage Statewide rallies, camps and outreaches) while also allowing students to build their local church through the internship program. The leadership of Youth Alive will remain directly involved with students throughout the courses to ensure they gain the maximum understanding and inspiration to reach a generation through their local church.
